Action plan
Every issue listed with a priority and suggested timescale, so you can work through it and keep a record of what was done.
Review date
A recommended date for the next review, plus a reminder of the changes that should trigger an earlier one.
Sample Report
This shortened five-page example shows the layout you receive: a clear overall risk rating, findings with traffic-light ratings, photos linked to each issue and an action plan with priorities and timescales. Your real report covers every section in full and is specific to your building.
How It Works
Book
Tell us the address, property type and roughly how many rooms or floors. We confirm a fixed quote before we visit.
Site visit
An assessor walks the whole building, speaks to you or your manager, and checks records and equipment.
Report
You receive the written assessment and action plan, also saved to your JHS customer portal.
Put it right
Use any contractor you like for the actions. We can also quote for the fire alarm, lighting and electrical work ourselves.
Common Questions
If you are the responsible person for a workplace, commercial premises or the shared parts of an HMO or block of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment. Since October 2023 the whole assessment must also be recorded in writing.
